21 Pakistanis Among Survivors in Moroccan Boat Tragedy

Dakhla: A total of twenty-one Pakistani nationals have been identified among the survivors of a maritime incident near Dakhla, Morocco.

According to Radio Pakistan, the survivors have been identified based on verified information.

In response to the incident, Pakistan's diplomatic mission in Rabat mobilized immediate assistance for the affected nationals. The Pakistan Embassy arranged essential provisions including food, water, medicine, and clothing. The local authorities in Dakhla are providing shelter and medical care in response to the diplomatic outreach.

The Embassy's consular team is currently present in Dakhla to oversee relief operations and coordinate with local authorities. The Foreign Office stated that the government is in close coordination with relevant authorities in Morocco to ensure comprehensive support for affected Pakistani citizens and finalize repatriation procedures.

The statement further emphasized that the government is committed to safeguarding the welfare of overseas Pakistanis and will continue to monitor the situation closely. The names of the survivors have been released, ensuring that their identities are confirmed and communicated to relevant parties.
