Lahore: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, says economic development and provision of relief to the people are the foremost priorities of the government. Addressing party workers in Lahore today, he said the country's economic stability and growth is being acknowledged at the international level.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Information Minister emphasized that the PML-N government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, has successfully steered the country towards a path of development. He noted that foreign investment is on the rise, the business community's confidence has been restored, and the stock market is at an all-time high. Attaullah Tarar reiterated that the government is committed to fulfilling the promises made to the people.
Discussing the 190 million pounds graft case, the Information Minister described the theft as the largest robbery in the country's history. Attaullah Tarar accused PTI of using religion to cover up its corruption while highlighting that the court's verdict had confirmed the corruption of the PTI founder.
