Govt’s Active Diplomacy Dispels Perception of Pakistan’s Isolation

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has declared that the perception of Pakistan's isolation on the global stage has been effectively dispelled due to the government's active diplomatic efforts. Through strategic engagements at both bilateral and multilateral levels, Pakistan has widened its diplomatic reach and influence.

According to Radio Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister Dar emphasized in a media briefing that Pakistan's recent diplomatic successes have eliminated claims of the country's isolation. He highlighted Pakistan's election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the eighth time as a testament to its strengthened international standing. Dar assured that Pakistan is committed to fulfilling its responsibilities in collaboration with other member states.

When addressing security concerns, Dar reiterated Pakistan's dedication to combating terrorism. He underscored the importance of enhancing trade and economic ties with Afghanistan, which he believes will foster better connections with Central Asian nations.

On the subject of relations with India, Dar stated that cooperation requires mutual goodwill, indicating Pakistan's readiness to engage positively if India reciprocates. He stressed the necessity of a bilateral approach for any meaningful progress.

Dar also commented on the country's economic trajectory, expressing optimism over the improved economic indicators. Inflation has reportedly decreased to five percent, while exports and remittances have shown an upward trend. He projected confidence that Pakistan, as a nuclear and missile power, is on course to achieve its rightful status in the global arena, driven by sustained economic advancement.
