Quetta: The Balochistan Cabinet has given the green light to the launch of an Electric Bikes Scheme, aimed at benefiting students, working women, and government employees by offering a thirty percent subsidy. This decision was made during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti.
According to Radio Pakistan, the scheme will be executed through bank financing to maximize public participation. In addition to this initiative, the cabinet has also approved a health insurance scheme for government employees, which is intended to establish a transparent and efficient healthcare system.
The cabinet further demonstrated its commitment to youth empowerment by expanding the Enterprises Development Program to regions including Gwadar, Ketch, and Awaran. This expansion is designed to provide young people with increased access to entrepreneurial opportunities.
