The Government of Balochistan is making all-out efforts for the provision of standard higher education facilities to youth of the province to equip them with modern knowledge.
According to official sources, the provincial government has increased the annual grant of universities from 1.50 billion to 2.50 billion rupees to meet financial needs of universities.
Similarly, more than 97 million rupees have been allocated in the budget 2021-22 for construction of new boys’ college in Jiwani tehsil of District Gwadar to enable the youth of Jiwani to get higher education at their doorstep.
Sources said that more than 937 million rupees are being spent for provision of clean drinking water, construction of washrooms, and other facilities at girl’s colleges in the province.
