Caretaker Interior Minister Dr. Gohar Ejaz visited a polling station on Adiala road Rawalpindi this afternoon and reviewed the polling process. Speaking on this occasion, he said casting vote is our national responsibility and every citizen should fulfill it diligently. Dr Gohar Ejaz expressed the confidence that the elected representatives of the nation would soon assume their responsibilities to run affairs of the government. He lauded the measures taken by the Election Commission and the local administration. Earlier, Caretaker Interior Minister Dr. Gohar Ejaz visited Control Room established at the Interior Ministry and different polling stations in Islamabad to review the polling process. During the visit, he was briefed about security situation during the elections. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said polling is underway smoothly and no untoward incident has been reported so far. He said polling process is being closely monitored and no one will be allowed to take law into their hands. T he Minister hoped that the polling process would be completed peacefully. Meanwhile, Gohar Ejaz also visited Safe City Islamabad along with Head of the Commonwealth Observer Mission Dr Goodluck Jonathan.
