Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed new ambassadors in different countries in accordance with a decision by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature.

According to the official statement, Jiang Zaidong is appointed new ambassador to Pakistan, replacing Nong Rong.
