Rawalpindi: Chief of Staff Bahrain National Guard Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz Saud Mubarak Al-Khalifa met with Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza at the Joint Staff Headquarters. The meeting focused on discussing the evolving regional environment and related security issues.

According to Radio Pakistan, both military leaders emphasized the importance of broadening the scope and depth of the existing bilateral military engagements and cooperation between Bahrain and Pakistan. The discussions highlighted the mutual interest in enhancing military collaboration.

Lieutenant General Al-Khalifa expressed appreciation for the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces. He also acknowledged their significant sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, underscoring the importance of continued collaboration in addressing regional security challenges.
