Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Muhammad Khalid Khursheed has called for finalization of TORs and EOI of 100 MW Karakorum International University, 80 MW, Funder and other major feasibility completed power projects.

He was presiding over a high level meeting held in Gilgit to review the current electricity situation.

In the meeting, matters pertaining to electricity generation, recovery of bills, improvement of transmission lines and completion of ongoing hydro power projects came under discussion.

Chief Minister directed to provide bills to consumers as per meter reading and improve recovery process. He emphasized to pay special attention in designing new power projects and ensure their timely completion to overcome energy shortage in winter.
