Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has expressed resolve to make Punjab a business-friendly province. She stated this during a meeting with a delegation from the Entrepreneurs Organization in Lahore today. She said that Punjab has immense opportunities and the government intends to establish plug-and-play units for industries. She emphasized that exports are the lifeline of the economy and all facilities will be provided to increase exports locally. Maryam Nawaz Sharif directed a crackdown against those illegally installing machines to sell substandard Iranian oil. The meeting decided to form a high-level committee to address the issues of the industry. Ali Alam Qamar was unanimously appointed as the focal person. Source: Radio Pakistan
