The country is making strides in the IT sector due to the efforts of Special Investment Facilitation Council. An agreement has been signed amongst National Radio and Telecommunication Corporation, Allied Australia and Tech Valley for the establishment of a chrome book manufacturing assembly in the country. Speaking at the signing ceremony, CEO Allied Australia Aron Saether Jackson said that five hundred thousand chrome books will be provided to Pakistani students through Google Allied and Tech Valley. He said that now these devices will be manufactured in Pakistan due the state of the art facilities being offered by NRTC. Saether Jackson expressed readiness to invest in Pakistan, saying this project will not only prove beneficial for students but it will create immense job opportunities. Source: Radio Pakistan
