Sindh government has decided to close educational institutions, marriage halls and other ceremonies in the province from Monday, due to spike in corona cases.
The decision was taken at a meeting of provincial Task Force on Corona in Karachi on Friday, with Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in the chair.
It was decided that the examinations in the province would be held as per schedule.
The timing of shopping malls and business markets was also rescheduled, which will now remain opened from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Shrines in the province will also be closed whereas both indoor and outdoor services at restaurants will be banned from Monday.
Fifty percent staff at public and private sector offices will be allowed.
