Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif says the coalition government despite financial constraints and challenges, provided relief to the people in the next fiscal year budget.
Addressing the General Council Meeting of Pakistan Muslim League-N in Islamabad this evening, he said talks with the International Monetary Fund are underway.
The Prime Minister said the government is cognizant of the sufferings and hardships being faced by the people, however, we saved the state and set aside politics for the sake of Pakistan during talks with the IMF.
He said we provided maximum relief to the people and increased salaries and pension of the government employees.
The Prime Minister said during his recent visit to Azerbaijan, we inked agreement for bringing cheap gas to Pakistan while a cargo ship containing crude oil from Russia has also docked in the country.
Turning the party matters, Shehbaz Sharif said PML-N always worked for the betterment of the country under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, who is the architect of development in Pakistan.
He said Nawaz Sharif spread network of roads and Motorways, launched power projects, and also made projects for uplift of agriculture, industry and other sectors.
About Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Prime Minister categorically stated that Pakistan's Kashmir policy cannot be compromised at all. He also congratulated the newly elected office bearers of the party.
