DG PBC announces pending payment of commutation to pensioners from May

Director General Radio Pakistan Saeed Ahmed Shaikh has announced payment of commutation, pending for the last five years, to PBC pensioners from next month. He was speaking at the launching ceremony of Radio Pakistan Welfare Association (RPWA) held at the PBC headquarters this afternoon. The Director General hoped that pendency of commutation amount will be cleared soon as PBC management is arranging funds from different sources. He said under a Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Health Services Academy today, the PBC employees and pensioners will get health cover of five million rupees a month. He also assured medical allowance for PBC staff and pensioners on availability of funds. Saeed Ahmed Shaikh also answered queries of pensioners and assured them early redressal of their problems and issues.
