Minister for Industries and Production, Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar says economic growth is on positive trajectory due to prudent policies of the government.
Talking to the media along with Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib in Islamabad on Wednesday evening, he said exports and remittances have increased from 42 billion dollars to 64 billion dollars.
He said the government is striving hard to surpass the exports target of 36 billion dollars for next year.
Khusro Bakhtiar said Industrial Promotion, and Investment package, announced by the Prime Minister, is aimed at documenting undocumented economy, diverting wealth to productive sector, and incentivizing overseas Pakistanis to invest in the industrial domain and enhance manufacturing base of Pakistan.
On the occasion, Farrukh Habib said Prime Minister Imran Khan has given a historic relief package by reducing prices of petrol and electricity, but it seems strange that the opposition is making hue and cry over this pro-people step.
