Minister for Power Khurram Dastgir says efforts are afoot to narrow down the gap between demand and production of electricity across the country.
He was talking to the Governor of Sindh Kamran Khan Tesuri in Karachi today.
During the meeting, they discussed supply of electricity in Karachi and steps taken by the federal government for this purpose.
Governor Sindh said uninterrupted power supply is inevitable for industrial and trade activities.
The Minister assured Governor to take up matter with the K-Electric authorities regarding load shedding in the city.
