Lahore: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has announced the provision of relief to the salaried class in the forthcoming budget. Speaking to media representatives, he emphasized the private sector's vital role in driving the country's economic progress, noting that foreign exchange reserves are growing steadily.

According to Radio Pakistan, the minister also expressed the government's commitment to supporting the construction industry while ensuring no gambling activities in real estate. Muhammad Aurangzeb highlighted that consultations with business leaders have already begun ahead of the budget.

He stressed that an economic foundation has been laid, and the focus is now on achieving sustainable growth. He pointed out that currency stability, a reduced policy rate, and a rising stock exchange are indicators of the country's improving economic health.
