Lahore: A delegation of foreign investors and CEOs from the UK and China has expressed interest in investing in Pakistan's food supply chain, renewable energy, and solar sectors. The group, led by Asim Sattar, an overseas Pakistani businessman from the UK, met with Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan in Lahore today. According to Radio Pakistan, the Governor assured the delegation of full support, noting that the government is facilitating foreign investments through the Special Investment Facilitation Council. This initiative aims to streamline procedures and create a more investor-friendly environment in Pakistan. Asim Sattar emphasized the enthusiasm of overseas Pakistanis to contribute to the country's development, pointing out the vast opportunities available for investment. He highlighted the potential for growth in Pakistan's food and energy sectors, which are poised for expansion with the support of foreign capital and expertise.
