Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has termed the holding of G-20 moot in the disputed territory of Indian illegally occupied Kashmir as an utter violation of the UN resolutions.
Addressing the special session of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly in Muzaffarabad, he said the disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir is internationally recognized.
The Foreign Minister said it was decided that the final disposition of the state shall be made through a free and impartial plebiscite under the UN auspices.
He said the people of Jammu and Kashmir have been denied their basic right to self-determination for decades and now such a meeting in the world's most militarized zone cannot prove that normalcy has returned in the region.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said history cannot be changed through such cheap acts as Jammu and Kashmir was forcibly occupied by India.
He said India is misusing its position as Chair of the G-20, with utter disregard for the UN Security Council resolution, the UN Charter and its principles.
He said Pakistan cannot ignore what happens in Jammu and Kashmir, as it is a party to the dispute.
