Islamabad: Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja announced that the government is actively taking steps to develop digital public infrastructure aimed at improving governance. According to Radio Pakistan, during a ceremony held in Islamabad, the Minister expressed that digitization efforts will facilitate the interlinking of data through data exchange layers. This initiative is expected to enhance the operational efficiency of government institutions and eradicate bureaucratic red tape. She highlighted that the digital transformation will bring significant changes across various sectors, including health, education, agriculture, and information technology. The national digitization process is set to focus on economic development, improved governance, and societal benefits. Shaza Fatima Khawaja also called upon the youth to engage proactively in the nation's progress, emphasizing their crucial role in the successful implementation of these digital initiatives.
