Islamabad: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Industries and Production, Haroon Akhtar, reaffirmed the government's commitment to the pharmaceutical industry, emphasizing its support during the 8th Pak Pharma Summit and Pharma Export Awards ceremony held in Islamabad today. According to Radio Pakistan, Haroon Akhtar highlighted the government's strategic policies designed to bolster the pharmaceutical sector while maintaining the supply of affordable and quality medicines to the public. He announced that Pakistan's pharmaceutical exports have soared to 457 million dollars, marking a record thirty-four percent growth and the highest achievement in two decades. Haroon Akhtar expressed optimism about Pakistan's potential to secure a significant position in the global healthcare market, underlining the importance of continued government support and industry collaboration to achieve this goal.
