Minister for Industries and Production Makhdoom Syed Murtaza Mahmood says the incumbent government will pay special attention towards development of Small and Medium Enterprises, in order to create massive employment opportunities and enhance GDP growth of the country.
He expressed these views during a briefing on SME Policy given by Chief Executive Officer of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, Hashim Raza in Islamabad.
The Minister said economic revival is the top most agenda of new government, which will amicably be met by developing SME sector across the country.
He assured to further strengthen SMEDA to meet the development goals set in the SME policy.
He was confident that the new SME policy will encourage youth, particularly women, to explore their business potential by creating an environment where new businesses can be set up and flourished.
