Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar says the government will provide free quality treatment facility to every family in the province under the New Pakistan National Health Card.
In a statement, he said the Universal Health Insurance Program is successfully benefiting people in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Sahiwal and Dera Ghazi Khan Divisions.
The Chief Minister said more than one hundred thousand people have benefited from free medical treatment facilities at 287 selected hospitals in these divisions.
He said by the end of March, all families in Punjab will be eligible for free treatment up to one million rupees per annum under this program.
Sardar Usman Buzdar said issuance of Health cards in Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan and Sargodha divisions will be completed within two months.
