Pakistan Muslim league- Nawaz leader Hamza Shehbaz Sharif was sworn-in as Chief Minister of Punjab today.
Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf administered oath to him at Governor's House in Lahore. Federal Ministers, Members of Punjab Assembly and important political leaders attended the ceremony.
It is pertinent to mention that Lahore High Court ordered Speaker of the National Assembly to administer oath to the newly-elected Chief Minister.
Later, Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz Sharif visited Chief Minister House where guard of honor was presented to him.
Later talking to newsmen, Hamza Shahbaz expressed his resolve to work jointly with his allies for the welfare of people.
He said finally a constitutional crisis is over in the province.
Hamza Shahbaz said the Chief Minister's post will remain dedicated to the real public service.
He vowed to use Chief Ministership for public welfare purpose only.
