Karachi: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, rain-wind and thunderstorms are forecasted for Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and the surrounding hilly areas. According to Radio Pakistan, the temperatures recorded in major cities this morning were as follows: Islamabad and Lahore at twenty-three degrees centigrade, Karachi at thirty, Peshawar at twenty-five, Quetta and Muzaffarabad at twenty, Gilgit at nineteen, and Murree at fifteen degrees centigrade. The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates partly cloudy conditions, with chances of rain, wind, and thunderstorms in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Anantnag, Shopian, Pulwama, and Baramula. The temperatures recorded this morning in the region were: Srinagar, Pulwama, and Shopian at fifteen degrees centigrade, Jammu at twenty-four, Leh at four, and Anantnag and Baramula at sixteen degrees centigrade.
