A batch of under-training officers of 48 Common and 38 Specialized Training Program at Information Service Academy Islamabad visited National Broadcasting House Islamabad on Tuesday.

Director General Radio Pakistan Muhammad Asim Khichi briefed the visiting probationary officers about the working of different departments of Radio Pakistan.

The Director General said Radio Pakistan is the most powerful medium having unmatched public outreach across the country. He said Radio Pakistan has been playing an effective role in highlighting the government's initiatives and projecting the state narrative on Kashmir, Afghanistan and other international issues.

Director News and Current Affairs Abdul Rauf Khan, Director Administration Intisar Ahmed and Director Program Khalida Nuzhat were also present on the occasion.

Later, the probationary officers visited different sections of Radio Pakistan.
