Islamabad: Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Ahad Cheema, has expressed hope that the upcoming meeting of the 8th Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) between Pakistan and Azerbaijan will open new avenues of cooperation in trade between the two countries. He expressed these remarks while talking to Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, H.E. Khazar Farhadov, who called on him in Islamabad today. According to Radio Pakistan, the two leaders discussed preparations for the Joint Ministerial Commission, which is scheduled to take place on December 3rd and 4th this year. The Minister emphasized the need for closer collaboration between the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Defence Production to ensure effective implementation of the commission's outcomes. He also announced plans to establish an 'Azerbaijan Trade House' in Pakistan, noting that further details will be revealed following approval from the Azerbaijani government. This initiative is expected to bolster economic ties and facilitate t rade relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
