Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal has reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to create a conducive environment for foreign investment particularly for Malaysian traders. He was talking to Malaysian Minister for Investment, Trade and Industry Datuk Seri Utama Tengku Zafrul Bin Tengku Abdul Aziz who called on him in Islamabad today. Minister for Commerce emphasized that there is huge potential to grow bilateral trade between the two sides. He told Malaysian Minister that recently Government of Pakistan has removed Minimum Export Price for rice to allow Pakistani exporters to negotiate competitive prices. The Minister reiterated Pakistan's commitment to maintaining high halal standards, which are essential for expanding access to the Malaysian market.
