Founder and CEO of a digital platform, My Impact Meter, Kanwal Cheema says we are leveraging technology for poverty eradication, social integration and human security. She made these remarks addressing a gathering of leading Pak-American tech entrepreneurs, IT professionals and business leaders in Washington, hosted by Ambassador Masood Khan. The CEO of MIM said by digitalizing charity, we are endeavoring to reinforce trust, ensure transparency and maximize our outreach. We are helping donor community in reaching out to the poorest of the poor and extract them out of generational poverty by providing them with education, healthcare and vocational skills. Welcoming Kanwal Cheema to Washington, Pakistan Ambassador to the US Masood Khan lauded her work to synergize efforts for poverty alleviation and social integration. He said with her intercontinental connections, she can be a good bridge between continents. The Ambassador said we have introduced this technology platform to create a better understanding about her work and sequel should be better networking. My Impact Meter (MIM) is a digital platform that connects global donor community with the beneficiaries across Pakistan. Introducing the MIM platform to the audience, Kanwal Cheema said platform is ensuring complete transparency into the working of every NGO involved into the work of philanthropy and humanitarian work. She said the platform is also facilitating beneficiaries with vocational training enabling them to earn livelihoods and break shackles of poverty.
