Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Minister Syed Qasim Ali Shah has taken notice of over fourteen-hundred and forty-five confirmed cases of measles in the province. According to the health department, he has sought a report from the Director EPI and directed the authorities concerned to form an immediate provincial breakout committee. Health Department says the highest number of measles' cases have been reported in Dera Ismail Khan with one-hundred and eighty-five cases, Peshawar one-hundred forty-seven, Charsadda one-hundred and thirteen, Swabi ninety-two and Lower Dir with eighty-three cases. So far, a total of thirteen deaths have been occurred due to measles in the province. Source: Radio Pakistan
