Chief Minister Muhammad Khalid Khursheed has said that the Land Reforms Committee is working to solve the land problem in Gilgit-Baltistan on a permanent basis as per the aspirations of the people.
Presiding over a high-level meeting held in Gilgit, he said Land reforms complaints against shortage of wheat and provision of excess electricity bills to consumers.
Chief Minister convened a meeting of14 member’s special committee on land reforms tomorrow.
Khalid Khursheed said that steps should be taken to introduce a biometric system to facilitate the procurement of wheat and flour.
He directed to Secretary, Food and related departments to immediately take steps to start the transportation of wheat from Pasco, Punjab to GB.
He asked Secretary Power that no additional bills should be collected from the consumers other than meter reading.
