The primary objective was to promote peaceful resolutions to conflicts. The event attracted a considerable number of participants from the community.
ADR refers to various methods of resolving disputes without resorting to a trial. These processes, such as mediation, arbitration, and neutral evaluation, are generally more confidential, informal, and less stressful compared to traditional court proceedings.
Speaking on the occasion, District Field Officer of Legal Aid Society Zahid Ali Messo explained the definition of ADR and its different processes. He expressed his appreciation for the Christian community's active participation, reaffirming LAS's commitment to promoting alternative dispute resolution as a powerful means to foster harmony and resolution within communities.
Senior Advocate Sumreen Ali enriched the participants' understanding of ADR processes by sharing valuable insights into the "Salis" members and detailing the mediation process, highlighting its numerous benefits in efficiently and effectively resolving conflicts.
