Minister for Education and Professional Training Madad Ali Sindhi has reiterated the government's commitment to reform the public education sector.
He was talking to renowned singer and founder of 'Zindagi Trust' Shehzad Roy, who called on him in Islamabad on Monday.
The Minister said it is his vision to lay the groundwork in such a manner that the future political governments can build a better Pakistan for our future generations.
He welcomed Shehzad Roy's and commended his contribution towards education reforms in Pakistan, especially for his work on the inclusion of Child Protection into the provincial curriculum of Sindh.
The Minister said due to Shehzad Roy's efforts and developed by Zindagi Trust, the Sindh Government has approved a new "Teacher Performance Evaluation" format for teachers across the province.
He said the National Assembly also recognized efforts of Shehzad Roy and passed a law criminalizing corporal punishment.
Director of National Curriculum Council Mariam Chughtai was also present in the meeting.
