Lahore: 'Maryam Ke Dastak' program has been expanded to thirty-two districts in Punjab. The ten new districts added to the program include Rahim Yar Khan, Vehari, Lodhran, Toba Tek Singh, Layyah, Rajanpur, Nankana Sahib, Chiniot, Gujrat, and Khushab. This expansion was confirmed during a progress review meeting led by PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf in Lahore on Monday. According to Radio Pakistan, Chairman Faisal Yousaf emphasized that the 'Maryam Ke Dastak' initiative aims to enhance service delivery through trained representatives, offering a more efficient and citizen-friendly experience. The program highlights the government's dedication to providing accessible, transparent, and technology-driven public services. 'Maryam Ke Dastak' provides access to over 65 government services directly at the citizens' doorsteps. This approach significantly reduces the necessity for individuals to visit government offices, thereby ensuring greater convenience for women, the elderly, and working professionals.
