Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has stressed the need to enhance bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Netherlands in diverse fields particularly to curb human trafficking. He was talking to Ambassador of Netherlands to Pakistan, Henny de Vries, who called on him in Islamabad today. The Interior Minister said Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with the Netherlands and is keen to expand ties in various sectors. Terming the human smugglers as a big mafia, he called for collective efforts to deal with this heinous issue. They also exchanged views on the upcoming visit of Netherlands' team to Pakistan, aimed at furthering these collaborative efforts. The two sides emphasized to strengthening ties in Cricket. On Afghan refugees, Mohsin Naqvi said Pakistan has been hosting them for many decades. The two sides agreed to increase cooperation between Pakistan and Netherlands for welfare of Afghan refugees. The Ambassador Henny de Vries felicitated the Interior Minister for his nomination as a President of Asian Cricket Council and underscored the importance of sports diplomacy.
