NC will continue fight for restoration of IIOJK’s special status: Omar Abdullah

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah says his party will continue to fight for restoration of Article 370, which was abrogated by Indian government three years ago.

In a statement in Srinagar, he said his party, which has filed a petition in the Indian Supreme Court, challenging the decision announced by Indian government on August 5, 2019 to abrogate Article 370, has a strong case.

Omar Abdullah said the National Conference is not taking law into its hands for restoration of the Article, but will continue its struggle democratically, constitutionally and politically.
