The National Emergency Operations Center of NDMA has anticipated more rains, wind and thundershower with isolated heavy rains in various regions of the country till Sunday. The public is advised to remain vigilant and follow instructions from local authorities. NDMA has advised the public to stay informed and download 'Pak NDMA Disaster Alert' mobile app for timely alerts and closely monitor weather reports. Meanwhile, Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Punjab in a statement has said that there is a risk of flooding in rivers within the next 24 hours. It said a high-level flood is expected in River Chenab at Marala, Khanki and Qadirabad, with the water level expected to rise between 200,000 to 250,000 cusecs. Additionally, a flow of 40,000 to 55,000 cusecs of water is expected to pass through River Ravi at the points of Jassar and Shahdara. It was further informed that a moderate-level flood is occurring in Nala Bheen, while a low-level flood situation is present in Palku, while in River Indus, a low-level flood situation continues.
