Islamabad: The National Disaster Management Authority has issued an alert for rain accompanied by thunderstorms and hailstorms in several parts of the country over the next twelve to twenty-four hours.
According to Radio Pakistan, the NDMA's National Emergencies Operation Center has predicted rain with strong winds and thunderstorms in numerous districts across Punjab. Additionally, a hailstorm is anticipated in a few areas. The weather advisory extends to regions of Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where rain and thunderstorms are expected until Tuesday.
Citizens are advised to minimize travel, exercise caution while driving, and stay informed by following weather advisories closely. For timely updates, the public can use the NDMA's official app, "Pak NDMA Disaster Alert."
