National Disaster Management Authority has issued warning that Chenab River is likely to reach high to very high level flows due to heavy rainfall in catchment areas Chenab of the river till Sunday. The authority said possible flooding may result in inundation in low lying areas and damage of infrastructure. It said that all villages and towns near Marala, Khanki, Qadirabad and areas along the flood plain may be affected by increasing flows. Meanwhile, NDMA has issued an alert of more rains, wind and thundershower with isolated heavy rains in various regions of the country till Sunday. Source: Radio Pakistan
