The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has expressed its concern about the conditions of thousands of Palestinian prisoners in Israel Jails.

In two letters addressed by its Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross called them to assume their responsibilities to hold Israeli occupation accountable for violating the international law and to put pressure to release the Palestinian prisoners.
