New York: Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar has announced that an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries will be held in Jeddah on March 7 to discuss the situation in Gaza.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar addressed a news conference in New York, revealing that Arab leaders are set to meet on the issue on February 27, followed by a meeting of Gulf leaders on March 5. These meetings will lead up to the extraordinary CFM gathering on March 7, where Dar will represent Pakistan.
During his visit to New York, Ishaq Dar also engaged with members of the Pakistani diaspora. He emphasized Pakistan's historical commitment to articulating its position on issues concerning Kashmir and Palestine.
