Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, Malik Mohammad Ahmad Khan, has urged political parties to prioritize national interests over personal ones. Addressing a news conference in Lahore today, he said that talks are only the solution to every issue, as the importance of dialogue in society cannot be denied. The Speaker emphasized that the constitution clearly outlines how state institutions, including Parliament, the Supreme Court of Pakistan, and the Election Commission of Pakistan, should function. He said that he has recently written a letter to the Election Commission of Pakistan, requesting the notification of reserved seats in accordance with the constitution and law.
