Pakistan and Nigeria have agreed to promote bilateral cooperation in diverse fields.

This was agreed during meeting between Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Nigeria Minister for Defense Major General (retired) Bashir Salihi Magashi in Islamabad.

Underscoring common history, shared values and perceptions as solid pillars of trust-based ties with Nigeria, Shah Mahmood Qureshi expressed complete satisfaction at the positive trajectory of Pakistan-Nigeria relations.

He expressed satisfaction over bilateral collaboration in the security, aviation and counter-terrorism fields.
