Pakistan Calls on Afghanistan to Tackle Terror Groups Operating from Its Soil.

Islamabad: Pakistan has once again called upon Afghanistan to take action against terror groups operating from Afghan soil. At her weekly news briefing in Islamabad today, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch emphasized that Pakistan has, on several occasions, shared concrete evidence with Afghan authorities regarding these terror groups. According to Radio Pakistan, the spokesperson expressed hope that Afghan authorities will recognize terrorism as a significant threat not only to the region but also to their own security. She urged Afghanistan to fulfill its obligations under various international agreements, including the Doha Agreement. Baloch also voiced regret over the UN Security Council's inability to reach a consensus on a resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, reiterating Pakistan's call for an immediate, unconditional, and permanent ceasefire, as well as unhindered access to humanitarian assistance. Furthermore, Baloch highlighted the situation of children in Indian Illegally Occu pied Jammu and Kashmir, urging the international community to advocate for their rights and demand an end to their suffering. She reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to providing political, moral, and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people in their pursuit of a just and peaceful resolution to the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, in line with UN Security Council Resolutions.
