Baku: At the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) in Baku, Azerbaijan, Pakistan has highlighted a significant achievement in clean water access, supported by the Korea International Cooperation Agency and the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination. The event, held at the Pakistan Pavilion, featured high-level officials, including President KOICA Chang Won Sam and Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change Romina Khurshid Alam. According to Radio Pakistan, the KOICA-led project emphasizes Pakistan's commitment to addressing water quality challenges and advancing Sustainable Development Goal Number Six. A bilateral meeting at the pavilion resulted in a pledge to deepen collaboration on key environmental issues, including combating smog and building capacity for carbon markets.
