Pakistan Set to Join G-20 by 2030, Says Ishaq Dar

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar announced that Pakistan is on track to join the global economic group G-20 by 2030, thanks to its significant economic potential. Speaking at the Pakistan Business Council's Dialogue on the Economy in Islamabad, he urged all stakeholders to collaborate towards achieving economic sovereignty for the nation.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dar highlighted Pakistan's ascent to the 24th largest economy globally and noted a reduction in inflation from double digits to four percent. He also mentioned the diplomatic successes under the current PML-N government, including Pakistan's election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.

Furthermore, Dar pointed out that the hosting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting and an International Conference on Girls' Education in Pakistan underscores the country's improved diplomatic standing. He praised the URAAN Pakistan initiative as a roadmap for the nation's economic progress.

Ishaq Dar expressed confidence that Pakistan will continue to progress significantly and achieve its rightful place among the nations of the world.
