Pakistan Values Institutional Cooperation with Bangladesh: Tarar

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has stated that Pakistan places great importance on institutional cooperation and the exchange of experiences with friendly countries. He made these remarks during a meeting with a visiting Bangladeshi delegation of senior civil service officers.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Information Minister emphasized the need to further enhance collaboration between the training and capacity-building institutions of Pakistan and Bangladesh. This includes initiatives such as faculty exchanges, joint research, and the development of training modules. Tarar hailed the Executive Development Program between the civil services of both nations as a significant step forward in recent decades.

He also pointed out that Pakistan and Bangladesh share historical ties and a common legacy in administration and governance, which could serve as a foundation for deeper cooperation. The Information Minister welcomed the positive strides in bilateral relations, noting that these improvements could bolster mutual trust and constructive cooperation.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, who was present at the meeting, underscored the importance of promoting professional links and institutional cooperation between the two countries. He highlighted that strong bilateral relations are crucial for fostering regional harmony and mutual understanding.

The Bangladeshi delegation expressed keen interest in Pakistan's administrative framework and the ongoing reforms in various sectors, signaling a positive outlook for future collaborations.
