Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has reaffirmed government's commitment to implementing 5Es framework to propel the country forward on the path of development. Addressing an event in Islamabad today, he stressed that peace, stability, continuity of policies and reforms are of paramount important to include Pakistan in the list of the top ten or fifteen economies. He expressed the confidence that Pakistan will rise and find its rightful place in the comity of nations. He pointed out that Pakistan is the first country in South Asia to conduct digital census. He said this data will help in evolving strategies for the development of all areas. In her remarks on the occasion, Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change Romina Khurshid Alam emphasized greater collaboration among different departments to deal with the challenge posed by climate change.
