Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has termed overseas Pakistanis as a precious asset and ambassador of country for their valuable contribution for the progress of country.
Talking to the Pakistani community in France on Friday, he dubbed economic independence and progress as inevitable to save the future of country.
Highlighting the steps taken for the betterment of the economy of Pakistan, he revealed the establishment of Special Investment Facilitation Council to remove the impediments in the way of Foreign Direct Investment. He said that economic revival will prove a milestone to restore the economy of country.
The Prime Minister said that government restored the foreign relations with the concrete efforts of one year.
Shehbaz Sharif expressed dismay that inflation and unemployment both were at peak and economy was ruined in last four years. In view of these precarious circumstances, the Premier said that difficult decisions were made and saved the country from default.
Condemning the May 9 incidents, he said that the perpetrators of this mayhem are exploiting the overseas Pakistanis through their lies. Shehbaz Sharif urged overseas to play their role to unveil the lies and propaganda against Pakistan.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb and SAPM Tariq Fatmi were also present on the occasion.
