PM Lays Foundation-Stone of Rajanpur-Dera Ismail Khan Road

Dera Ghazi Khan: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif laid the foundation stone of the 330-kilometer long, four-lane dual carriageway road from Rajanpur to Dera Ismail Khan in Dera Ghazi Khan today. The ambitious infrastructure project is expected to significantly enhance connectivity and transportation in the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, the project, which includes the construction of eleven bypass roads, is slated to be completed at an estimated cost of 121 billion rupees. The Prime Minister was briefed on the timeline for the project, which is expected to be completed within two years.

The detailed plan involves the construction of six bypasses from Rajanpur to Dera Ghazi Khan. These bypasses will be located at Rajanpur, Fazilpur, Muhammad Pur, Jampur Mana Ahmadani, and Kot Chatta Dera Ghazi Khan. Additionally, five bypasses are planned from Dera Ghazi Khan to Dera Ismail Khan, including Shah Sadruddin, Kala, Shadan Lound, and Ramak.
